"A regulatory sandbox is a tool for developing evidence about how a new product, technology, or business model (innovation) works and the outcomes it produces. Evidence gathering can help assuage (or confirm) regulatory concerns about the impact of innovations, allowing benficial innovations to reach the marketplace."
The community can serve as a platform for Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs) to share their ideas and innovations, and for NAMFISA to stay informed about the latest developments in the FinTech industry. This can foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, leading to more efficient and effective financial services for consumers. In addition, the community can help identify and address regulatory challenges facing NBFIs, and develop solutions that balance the need for innovation with the need for consumer protection and risk management. By promoting communication and collaboration, the FinTech Square community can help build transparency and trust between NBFIs and NAMFISA, leading to a more stable and predictable regulatory environment.
