He said the continued growth of the financial industry is partly attributable to NAMFISA\u2019s heightened regulatory and supervisory activities, as well as continued engagement with industries to find common ground on issues of mutual and paramount concern to the sector.\n<br>\n\n<blockquote>\u201cNotwithstanding the increased supervisory interventions, we are aware of the malpractices committed by certain unscrupulous players in the market. To this end, the Authority has increased its focus on the principles of treating customers fairly. We encourage consumers not to be despondent, but to approach NAMFISA if they face challenges with financial institutions that do not want to adhere to legislative frameworks and generally accepted business conduct by treating customers fairly.\u201d<\/blockquote> <b<\/div><!-- .section-description --><\/div><!-- .section-title-wrapper -->\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84cee5f elementor-widget elementor-widget-egovenzsectiontitle\" data-id=\"84cee5f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"egovenzsectiontitle.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"section-title-wrapper border-light text-left\"><div class=\"title-wrap\"><h3 class=\"section-title\">Zero Tolerance for Non-Compliance<\/h3><span class=\"title-separator separator-border theme-color-bg\"><\/span><\/div><!-- .title-wrap --><div class=\"section-description\">Mr. Shiimi also emphasised the Authority\u2019s zero tolerance approach towards non-compliance to the laws and the mistreatment of customers. <blockquote>\u201cWe will continue to publish the complaints statistics in more elaborate fashion in the subsequent Quarterly Statistical Bulletins.
